fall break snippets.

Kosty got to bring home their class bear and he loved that germy thing up!

tooth fere got worked

these FBI kits from the dollar store kept them busy for almost a whole day.

this boy LOVES pancakes and loved his letter K so much that he would't eat it ;)

sometimes Kosty communicates through notes. Funny every time. (he wanted me to cut up a peach)

One night we got home and kosty ran in the house put on his pj's and when we opened the door he was standing there to greet us like this. This is his funny side most don't get to see.

saying bye to daddy before he left for a work trip to Texas.

their first day of (18 days) of Fall Break and they requested library and Quiktrip.

visiting daddy at his new work where he has a fancy hot chocolate dispenser and is just a few blocks away from this candy store

who knows...but it kept them entertained for hours.

yeah, i look super scary here. don't even care. its has taken me a lot of practice to get this pose down. A lot of practice, a lot of frustration, a lot of neck aches too.

sunrise.

^ the boys smiling for their season pass badges....I couldn't resist. And Kosty NEVER smiles so sweetly on command for me.  Lucky stranger.

Our neighbors/friends, the McConkie's invited us for a quick trip up north over the weekend. Sunrise gives free kids season passes if you donate a canned good and ride the lift on a specified day in October. We got up there pretty late, ate at a good mexican restaurant, woke up early and had breakfast at our hotel and let the kids swim, and headed up to the mountain. We rode the lift to the top and took million pictures and enjoyed the view. Kosty was super nervous about the lift, but begged to ride with the big boys on the way down. His nervous little face says it all. I've never seen Sunrise not covered in snow, but it sure was pretty. And gold trees are my favorite. Super fun weekend with good friends, happy kids, good food, and beautiful scenery.

fall hike.

our only pic of the 3 of us and my finger interfered.

We hiked San Tan mountain's Dynamite Trail during fall break. It was a little warm still, but we got out early and hiked an hour each way, so it wasn't bad. Brayden is a great hiker. He wanted to keep going and going. Kosty was ready to go back after 30 minutes. Brayden pointed out the different types of rocks to me: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. Sometimes he acts shocked that I don't know these things but I tell him always that I USED to know all this stuff, once upon a time.
