laughed at the question mark Kosty brought home from church. And the subject of babies comes out of these boys mouths way more than I would have ever thought...and they pray all the time for "mommy to have another baby"...it's just so sweet. I'm so glad they care. And that they want more siblings.

So, so proud. Kosty, you are wise.

good hair day

Brayden was showering in our shower a while ago and decided to use my good (bumble & bumble) shampoo since the kids' (cheap) shampoo was in their shower with Kosty. When he got out, I put a little Morrocan oil in it, and gave him a salon "blow out"...he is hooked now. I must admit I was shocked at the difference in the texture, shine, bounce, all of it...all because of decent product. I won't be too surprised if he too, starts asking for the good stuff for Christmas and birthdays.

"Comics for sale!"

Brayden is a little thinker and such a planner. I found this comic table set up one morning when I was lazily catching as many zzz's as possible before the day started, he was up long before school started to get a head start on his after school plans. After admiring his table and sending him off to school, I found his master plan on the kitchen table. I love that he made a blueprint for his comic stand, and matched it up perfectly with his drawing. After school, he and a friend managed the booth and sold a few. He ended up with about $7, which barely hit his hot little hand before he was in the car ready to go spend it....on what else? new art supplies.

Color Run.

The Color Run is a 5k in Tempe that has volunteers throwing colored chalk at you every 1k. It was a really fun morning with these girls. My friend, Julie, top right, came in first! She's a running machine!

maria's b-day.

Its a rare but fun treat to be with my sisters and my stepmom for lunch and frozen yogurt. Love them all! Really lucky to have a good step mom. She is the glue that holds our family together. (on my Dad's side)

running club.

The boys both did running club this year. I love running club! Extra hour after school, good exercise, no cost, win win win. Koston chickened out of the first official running club race, but after watching Brayden finish and enjoy a Popsicle, he decided to participate the next time around. He got cold feet right before the race but I told him to think about the Popsicle and dragged him out to his assigned spot and from there, he was stuck. (he won't rebel in front of other people) After the race, he said it was "so lame." But I spotted a proud little smirk when he crossed the finish line. Wouldn't you know it they didn't pass out Popsicles this time around. Kinda sad!
