bass pro shop

For some reason Brayden was absolutely terrified of the huge fish tank. There were some pretty creepy looking fish in there though. Some of them were HUGE blue catfish, with their nasty whiskers and all. Kosty wrapped his tiny arm around him and told him to smile!

Never mind Brayden as he was begging at my feet for the "Snuggie", and also ignore Brayden and my devil eyes. Kosty looks positively angelic.

While Jer & the boys were looking at the guns, I camo-fied myself and snuck up on them, posing still as can be with this guy--I'm pretty sure I scored some points with all of them. They thought it was pretty funny.

family pics

Aunt Cede was nice enough to "practice" on us again this year. The kids were thrilled about the "dead tree forest" location, until about 10 minutes later when they declared their hatred and demanded to leave at once.

Opinions please: I am ordering prints for my collage in my family room and I have always done antique finish. But this time I'm leaning towards color, maybe for a change. What do you think would look better for a collage? Antique or color. I did a couple of these antique so you can see the difference.

Please and thank you.

"...put on a Snuggie..."

They begged.

And begged. And even made up a chant.

Brayden: "What do we want!?"
Kosty: "SNUGGIES!!"
Brayden: "When do we want em?"
Kosty: "NOW!!"
Brayden: "Where we gonna get em?"
Kosty: "WALGREENS!"

Over and over. It made me laugh so hard. How could I refuse?

christmas fair

Jer's dad's company does this as their Christmas Party every year. Clean, not crowded, nice people, short lines, fun rides, good food, snow, and it was free. My kind of fair.

We won't mention the {slight} panic attack I had while on the ferris wheel. Ever since I had kids I've developed some sort of intense heights anxiety, not sure why having babies brought it on, but I remember gripping Brayden when he was a tiny baby as I walked close to the upper level guard rail at the mall & I started sweating intensely & kept imagining someone throwing him over the railing. Am I weird or what?

thanksgiving

I'll have to rearrange these later, my mouse won't drag and move! I got to start Thanksgiving early and helped the 1st graders with their big feast. They weren't kidding, it was a big feast, look at all those kids! Then we went over to my Mom's house for Thanksgiving Eve. The next day we spent with Jer's family and then with my Dad and Maria, where we roasted marshmellows and made smores. I LOVE Thanksgiving!
