christmas day

Christmas morning started out with Brayden waking up at midnight and saw that Santa had already put his (wrapped) gifts under the tree... So yes, at midnight he was ready to open gifts. Jer explained to him that he had only been asleep for 3 hours and that it was still nighttime. He started balling and cried himself back to sleep...oh how horrible to have to go back to sleep after he saw all the presents under the tree.

Then he woke up at 5 am and so the unwrapping began. The only thing Brayden really wanted this year was a Wii. We let Santa know that he could bring it only if we sold our XBox. Luckily that was accomplished and so Santa knew it was ok to bring one ;) I just love this picture of him opening it, it doesn't get much better than that face!!

Kosty wanted a Batman house most of all and Santa delivered.

After we opened our gifts and played for a bit, we went over to Grandma's and ate her yummy breakfast and opened more gifts. Oh, and found out these two had gotten engaged the night before. Wedding in March!

Brayden REALLY wanted Uncle Chase to spend the night on Christmas night. The next day we had crepes, bacon, and orange juice, then played a whole lot of the Wii, built legos, and played games.

Jer really loves his keyboard and practices as much as he can. He's always wished he could play the piano, so I'm happy he's learning. Kosty fell in love with this girly book series when his teacher read "Purpleicious" at school. He is now the proud owner of Pinkalicious and he got Goldilicious for Christmas.....its pretty funny.

{Now....can anyone tell me why on earth most of my words are underlined!??? its driving me absolutely crazy and I can't get it to stop!}
