 The next day we explored Carlsbad a bit, had lunch, drove down to look at the beach, stopped at the strawberry stand....

I would catch Brayden in mid sneeze and not notice. Whoops. The stand is so cute though! 

Then we drove down to Newport, and met up with our friends, the Hestands, and crashed their beach house for a few days. We had planned on staying in Carlsbad for the whole trip but found couldn't turn down the offer when we realized they had room and they were there that same time. As much as we were excited to try a new beach city, Newport is like home to us there...
